Our Congratulations to Trini Ross

We are thrilled to share congratulations with Trini Ross, who was nominated today to serve as a US Attorney in the WNY district. The Biden Administration shared about these positions, “These individuals—many of whom are historic firsts—were chosen for their devotion to enforcing the law, their professionalism, their experience and credentials in this field, their dedication to pursuing equal justice for all, and their commitment to the independence of the Department of Justice.” Many TAP Fund members, as well as successful TAP candidates, worked hard.to support Trini’s candidacy.

Monica Wallace shared in her recommendation, “Prior to my election to the state Assembly, I served for over a decade as a federal law clerk for the WDNY, where I saw Ms. Ross indict, prosecute, try, and resolve cases ethically and fairly throughout her tenure as an Assistant United States Attorney.She was respected by fellow prosecutors, defense attorneys, and judges, and earned a reputation as an AUSA who worked hard to satisfy the government’s burden and who made sure that federal laws were applied fairly and equally to everyone.”

Ms. Ross is the first Black woman to lead this office. She enters the position with decades of experience in this office, as well as a demonstrated commitment to WNY and its communities.
